Luk is more of a craftsman than an intellectual. He is a painter first, artist second. Luk is a rather pragmatic type, driven by instinct, which reflects in the process of his paintings.
He strives for atmospheric density, packing his insights into narratives. At the centre of that effort, he tries to reconcile realistic superstructure with resolute abstract landmarks. Luk has a recurring interest in the break, or the crack, that runs through things.
We are very delighted to present you Luk´s special work in a very intimate, private Exhibition.
